I like to read threads in flat view, but it is sequential order, so replies to a specific post have no relation to that post. I realize it would probably be difficult to order the posts in threaded mode, but might it be possible to add a line to the header of each post indicating which post it is a reply to?

    I agree. Some indicator in flat view of which post is a reply to which would be very nice. I have been thinking about how to do it as well. We'll work something out.
