Tough night,
During the winter my garage serves as a giant freezer. Temps came up and I had a load of stuff to deal with. Gallons of pasta sauce, chicken and beef stock, racks of ribs etc. Got it all bagged and in the freezer tonight but I have been dying to do pot roast on the egg. No time to light one but I am going to leave work early tomorrow to get this on. I want to do a braise rather than a boil so this is the setup.
Thick cut roots, white turnip, Parsips and carrots.

Big honkin' bottom round, seared on the stove.

Shallots and garlic on top. I will add mini potatoes and some green stuff after the braise.

You been busy. I have a little 20 oz steak defrosting for tomorrow :( If I leave now do you think I could clear customs before it's done tomorrow? actually I guess the question is if I could clear customs :(
 -
Pat,
With your record, I don't think you could even get in. That says a lot because we let everybody in.

Beli,
The temps are up but it is temporary. It's what we call a January thaw. It's a little late but we still have a couple of months of nasty at least.
