I went back to my H-E-B a few minutes ago and they still had quite a number available. I asked the meatcutter to cut some 1 1/2 inches for me, and he opened the last full box of loins. I bought four more for $48.00 total. There are plenty out on the display case that are between 3/4 and 1 inch thick.

I don't expect it is worth your time and money to drive from Round Rock to Circle C Ranch, but I thought I would send this in the event you already had another reason to be in south Austin today.

If you do go there, ask for Joey Herrera at the meat counter and tell him you're another Big Green Egg chef.
