Can I reproduce arecipe from the source on this forum or would that infringe on copyright laws?
I would site the source and page number and then type the recipe.

    I'm not an attorney; so, the truth is I don't know for sure, but if you want my opinion....

    Typically, copyrighted material, like musical scores, are not published on the Internet until the copyright expires; but I don't think that means that anything you might find on the Internet is in the public domain (e.g. perhaps the content on sites like the "Wall Street Journal" or the like).

    So the safest assumption would probably be that it's up to the author of the recipe.
