I am making up a birthday wishlist and wanted to put one of your grate lifting tools on it. I have a small CI grate as well as the larger stainless and procelain grates for my large BGE.

My question is: Will the Three finger tool work OK on the larger grates (neither of the larger ones is CI). ?

Thanks. I really needed one Sunday when I was pulling the hot small CI grate out - had to move pretty quickly with my Kevlar gloves! :laugh:

No problem, thirdeye's 'tools' are well worth owning.

You aren't going to start another 'stir'.

The forum gets heartburn now and then, it explodes as folks jump on one side or another. Most of the posts end up being 'support of another's thoughts'. The snowball effect goes on for a while then all emotions/drinking are done and for the most part all is well again.
