cart measurement question

Just bought lg. bge. last week. Everything cooked to perfection. Building a cart today. Question, want to use large cover 58x27x44
what is the length of tabletop so cover will fit? 57 or 58? One more question, will the feet be enough for the egg not to scorch the base of the table or would you advise on slate or tile? Great website by the way. I would advise anyone considering an egg to go for it. Expensive but will be the last grill ever purchased for us.

jim,
You can see the measurements of the BGE table in the table plans available on this website. Here's a link:[p]Table Plans[p]I bought a large cover to use on my table which I made 57" long and it had a little room to spare. Here's a link to my webpage on building my table:[p]The Naked Whiz's Technicolor Ultratranscosmic Table[p]TNW
