My original goal with brisket #1 was to make a HUGE brisket for Passover. Have half of it for first night and take half of it with my last night. The problem? By Thursday, there was no more left of the brisket than you could make a shoe out of. So I had to actually go out and get ANOTHER 8 lb brisket and make that yesterday![p]Had a tough audience to this one. 20 Jewish women, all who have made traditional oven briskets forever..all with recipes passed down from Bubbe to Bubbe. I did another Elder Ward special. Cooked in 8 hours to 202. Even got the temperature under control in the first 40 minutes![p]THE CROWD WENT WILD. "OH MY I'VE NEVER HAD ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE." "WHAT KIND OF SPICES ARE ON THIS? THIS IS FABULOUS."[p]Tee hee. I'm now famous.[p]Thanks for all your help![p]MollyShark-the-brisket-queen
