Okay...I love the EGG and love cooking on it.....[p]Tonight I took my son, 18, and ADhD out...so he could learn to cook. I showed him how to place charcoal.....how to "start" the BGE....how to get the BGE up to 320.......[p]He now is waiting for the timer (thanks Pout) to go off so he can flip the chicken.....[p]Once he is a master, he will surely teach me.......[p]Damn....gotta love the EGG

  • Toe 49,
my 13 year old daughter is my official 'EGGsisstant' i send her out to check dome temps. . .i even trust her enough that i can go out and run errands for a couple of hours, and she will adjust daisy wheel to maintain temps. . .past weekend i let her light up the lump with the mapp torch. . .she thought that was pretty cool. . .now i just have to worry about her getting angry at me (gee, a teenage daughter getting mad at dad, imagine that!) and lighting me up some night with the torch. . .
