Is there a specific inside temperature that a pork tenderloin should be... or do you cook it according to grill temp and timing? I have the egg lit now and can't recall this info.....thanks in advence y'all!

    greeneggonmyface,
I typiccally cook mine around 500° +/- 50° to an internal of around 145°...This will produce a nice outside to the tenderloin, and will be tender and juicy.[p]Wess

    greeneggonmyface,
Unfortunately (or fortunately depending how you look at it) I haven't found anything I can cook on the BBQ where I can depend on time. A good internal temp to shoot for...like Wess says....is 140-145. For those that absolutely object to any pink in their pork, you might go to 150. Anything past that will begin drying out. A little pink is GOOOOOOD in a tenderloin. If you can convince your guests of this, then 140 is the way to go![p]ales!

greeneggonmyface,[p]I cooked three last night, stuffed with garlic herb cream cheese. Cooked them on a raised grid at 325 - 350 dome. Total cooking time to reach 145 internal on one of the outside tenderloins (closer to edge of grill) was about 25 minutes, flipping once at the half-way mark.[p]Try them with rasberry chipotle sauce. Yummy.[p]TRex
