I am not sure why but it seems all the Central IL eggers are buying goats milk. I got this yogurt maker on Amazon the other day(ordered the same time as the ET-73). So when I saw the goat milk on clearance for $0.99 I had to give it a try.
Added some frozen cherries that I reduced to a sauce.
This turned out really good. Very tart and very creamy. Anyone else try making yogurt? Any ideas for using it on the egg?

Yummy dip I did tonight peal and grate a cuke. squeeze out as much juice as you can. grate 4 cloves of garlic and pour on a tbs of balsamic vinegar. mix all together and chill. it is better if it sits for awhile. 4 garlic is strong. :evil:

I have a similar unit--it makes a lot of yogurt, 2 quarts because the Salton makes one quart (perfect for goats milk--too expensive to make 2!) We make our own. If you add some powdered milk, it becomes thicker. Then we put it in a sieve to make yo-cheese or laban, which is nice with Greek or Turkish food.
