Quick Rib Cooking Time Question

I'm following the babyback recipe of Kat's posted here. It says 250 degrees for about 3-3-1/2 hrs for 3 slabs of ribs. I am cooking two. Does the time relate to the quantity in this case since they are all lined up on a rib rack? Would 1 slab pretty much need as much time as 5 slabs since they are pretty independent of each other?[p]In other words...do I still need 3 hrs for 2 slabs?[p]Lordy that took a long time to get out!

Mollyshark,[p]Quantity makes little difference. Method makes a HUGE difference and I prefer indirect or one of the "in foil" methods as opposed to a direct method.[p]I hope it works out well for you.[p]Tim

Tim M,[p]Just finished eating a ton of ribs. They came out quite nice. A little too much black pepper for me, but could be because I measured out the pepper in peppercorns, not in ground pepper. Didn't use a sauce with them at all. Maybe should have. But not at all dry.[p]What do you find is different in the foil or indirect methods?[p]mShark

Mollyshark,[p]More moisture, tender - less dry[p]Glad they came out well for you. Everyone likes them somewhat differently. You have to try several methods to see what you like.[p]Tim
