I'm thinking about buying me a Guru and all I need is someone to go ahead and push me over the edge. Someone give me .00045 of a reason to get one. :woohoo:

The DiGiQ II is the best accessory I have purchased for my BGE, PERIOD!!!
-
I am kind of partial to red, green and gold..
Ohh can put your food on before you head off to work. Put the Guru in Ramp Mode and have warm food when you get home. -
Im going to use it on a large. Whats your advice Wolf? 10cfm? Any need for the longer leads? Mine is in a table so theres plenty room to sit it.

They work very well in the rain!

A Hot Tub is good for your life, what a way to relax!

i have had mine for 3years and wouldn't do without it especially on low and slows. set it, turn it on and for get about it. it has never failed.

That's only because you don't have a Thermapen yet. -RP

New procedure for low and slow, load coals, turn on Guru, set desired temp, light coals, add plate setter and grid, close dome, set the daisy with the small petals barely cracked open, and walk away. The Guru will bring the Egg to temp and hold it until you're ready to add the meat. Then it will cook through the night while you're snug in bed. Nuff said. -RP

I have to agree with RP on this one.
However, one can't leave out the adjustable rig & spider.

10 and the regular length works well in my setup

Randy,
You have a great way with words I couldn't have said it better!

Drive to Florence and buy one from Tony (at the Grilling Room), in person. You can have it today. That should be enough of a reason.

Hey thanks for all the help pushing me over the edge. Thanks Crimsongator. I had no idea that place was there. I'm gonna give him a call.
