I've been wanting to try this for a while. Will definitely do again. Started with a couple racks of ribs
Smoked them until I knew they would be falling off the bone and added a little sauce.
Then to a french loaf. I took the top and lined it with provolone and put in the oven under the broiler until it started to brown. While doing so I put pickles, red onion and some more sauce on my end. The bones just picked up out of the ribs.

I didn't know the McRib had cheese on it. A fall off the bone rib sammy looks good though.
I'll get some pics to you this week, good idea on covering the floor up. I'm thinking a black and white checked floor.

My version does! LOL.
Hey, you gotta try this. Pretty good sandwich.
Look forward to seeing those. Only three months till the first KC contest. -
You might want to rename it the "Way Better than McRib Sandwich". Looks awesome!
-
That sure looks tasty!
-
You need to give McDonald's a McRib 101 class. Looks great!!

That's not a McRib, that's a McGood, er McBetter, ah McBest... BGEribwich. No "Mc" involved here. (sheesh, posted in the wrong spot again).LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

That really looks terrific.
Nicely done. -
That looks kickbutt goood. I don't know if I could bring myself to "waste" a good rib like that.
Ground pork however is another matter!

Didnt you do those at the OKC eggfest last yr? As I remember at the after party they were eggcellent. Err what I could remember :woohoo:
-
Trust me. It wasn't a waste of a rack.
-
If not last year the year before last. I've made them a couple times at after parties.
