My spouse brought home a SMALL pork loin roast ( about 1 1/2#) for a 2 person New Years day meal ( pork and black eyed peas). I have never cooked a loin this small, need temp and time. I am thinking 350 about 1 hour direct, internal 145 to 160. Somebody talk to me please!!

I would pull at 140F since it is so small and cooks from the short ends. Let the temperature determine the time. 45 minutes or so.

Thanks Richard, This one is almost square, 6 inch by 8 inch about 1 inch thick.

Cook it like a pork chop. Kind a thin for 45 minutes.

Richard is right, do it like a pork chop if it is that small. It would be easy to end up dry if you go over temp so you might want to consider brining to make it more forgiving.
Here's the brine I use for extra thick pork chops. To be honest, I don't remember where I got this, pretty sure it was on here.
2 cups Water
1/4 cup Salt
3/4 cup Sugar turbinado or brown
2 cup Apple juice
We soak chops for 2-4 hours in this brine and they always come out juicy. It should work with your loin.Knoxville, TN
