Sparky and Todd,

Hey Sparky - Congratulations! You are gonna love it! I use mine all the time for lots of good stuff! Pizza dough for sure, breads, meringues, etc.... You may have to try several pizza dough recipes before you find one that really 'floats your boat' so to speak. So, enjoy your new toy, and feel free to ask for recipes. I have several for pizza dough, you can do Pita bread, etc, etc. You are in for a fun adventure! :woohoo: Let me know if I can assist!

All the wife has is a hand mixer. Need one like that for sure. Nice purches. I see these recipes that say "need for 5 min." and just sigh!
-
Apron?I don't even have an apron

 Well, except for this one,but I only wear it when nobodys lookin :silly:
-
Hola Big'un....B.T. wants to know if you're turning in to a sissy baker... :woohoo: :woohoo:
-
Dude,
That ain't no stinkin apron, it's a barbeque spill protector. Like a hard hat or safety glasses or sumpthin. It's only an apron if it has flowers or fruit or something on it. Like Rod's.

Do you have a recipe for a crusty type bread for dipping with olive oil & spices that you like?
Thanks! -
   Oh,now I understand
-
Hey Thanks Little Chef.I really hope to open my horizons, and try new stuff.Do you have a pretzel recipe?I love pretzels :woohoo:
-
J - You can do lot's of great doughs by hand! Seriously, it's not difficult at all! I have a basic pizza dough recipe I saved from culinary school that we had to make by hand, only. No mixers allowed, and it was pretty darn good. If you would like it, shoot me an email, and I will send it to you. Not hard at all. No need for mixer envy! :silly: :woohoo:
-
Yea JL,I bet 5 min of mixing by hand would give me a heart attack :pinch: I'm just not that energetic

-
The answer is yes to both of you! I just rifled through my recipe box, and did not find them at first pass. If you would allow me until tomorrow, I will send crusty bread (my preference is Focaccia) and a great homemade soft pretzel recipe, which is awesome for making with kids! They have a blast! I have them both, just can't put my fingers on them this moment.
-
Thanks Little Chef, just whenever you have time is fine by me.It'll probably be a week or two before I get to it anyway
-
Sparky,
Don't fall for any of that hand knead stuff man. I think I had four heart attacks last time. Not worth it for a loaf of bread.

Thanks for taking the pressure off. The recipe I am going to give you, honestly, is the pretzel recipe my Mom used to make when I was a kid. I used to beg her to make the dough, so I could have fun making all shapes of pretzels!! :woohoo:  Just can't put my fingers on it at the moment, but I'll find it.
-
There are a lot of things in your future with that fine machine.......Excellent choice! You'll never regret that purchase......
