I was picking this up to put it on the egg:

In the spring I will post some pics of real shrimp balls

It was a cheap pot but I liked the color & thought it would fit nice on the egg. First time I had used it. :( -
Bubba Tim says you should have used silicone! :laugh: :laugh: I believe you should have lined it with aluminum foil first! NOT! :laugh: :laugh: :woohoo: Sorry to see your misfortune! Be grateful it didn't happen IN the BGE!
Lots to be said for ceramic fired cast iron. :woohoo: (Glad you weren't injured!) -

Oh boy, what a disaster. Luckily u could salvage some of the sauce. Other than the broken pot looks great.

A well seasoned or an enamel cast is the best route to go…But darn the luck!
I do glass too, and have never though about a blow out!
