I wanted to share results of a chili contest I entered. Our local builders association holds an annual Chili Cookoff. I was determined to enter, as I have every year but never won.[p]This year, I used the talents of the Egg and this forum with outstanding results.[p]Award - "Most unusual Chili"[p]I was entered in the Most unusual category and the best category.[p]I used my old, 2-3-2 recipe that I adapted from my brother, Charlie. I changed the meat ingredient to Pulled Pork and smoked the chili on the egg in a dutch oven.[p]The most resounding comment I received was that there was not enough. The pulled pork chili was the first to be eaten up in entirety. One contestant even accused me of not bringing the required minimum quantity of Chili to make it look like there was a shortage. Thanks all to post here that I pulled a little here and there from to make a new recipe for my keepers cook book.[p]Fun was had by all. The joke for tomorrow will be "pull my finger"![p]Banker John
