ham temp.?
Hello everyone, hope you all are well. I'm great, I have three shank portion hams with ginger ale and brown sugar mixture for a glaze. They are currently over heavily smoking apple wood, at 325*. Most of the hams that I have seen have said to heat to an internal temp of 148* or thereabouts. I saw one today that said to heat to 160*. The ones that I bought today did not say. I reckon it is a precooked ham, but am not possitive. The pack says "Smoked Ham-shank portion". The one I saw that said to heat to 160 was precooked. Are they just fanatics, or should I follw this? Thank you for any responses.

spineyone,
If it's like the ham on my small egg I cook them to 145° TO 150°.

YB,thanks. That is what I am accustomed to, but was confused by the other label that said 160*. I think I will go to about 150* then dig in and slang some elbows.
