Frozen Egg - Help!

Dadburn egg froze for the first time. Maybe moisture left over from Friday night's cook - maybe some Virginia freezing rain, sleet and/or snow snuck thru my cracked vinyl cover - not sure. Anyway, the lid is frozen and the bottom vent is frozen too. Neither will budge. I tried dropping some firestarters and newspapers down the top but can't maintain any significant heat. Is there anything I can do? I've got pizza fixins ready to go![p]Thanks in advance.

Get a hair dryer, melt the ice off of the bottom vent, then put a weber starter cube or to in the bottom vent.

Oh yeah, when you are done cooking the pizzas, give the bottom vent a light coating of hi-temp clear grease, it won't freeze and should eliminate your bottom vent p[roblems.

Thanks fellas. Got the bottom vent open with the hair dryer. Lit some starters and it looks like they're going to ignite the lump that's in there. Still won't open, but we're making progress.

Has happened twice to me. First time the dropped the electric starter down the top vent for about 15 minutes, took care of it. Second time we had to wrestle Mr. Lg BGE into the kitchen, and then after about a half hour we STILL had to drop the electric starter down the top vent.[p]Life :>[p]
