Lobster A Hit

Thanks to everybody for all their help in the inaugural lobster cook on the Egg. Followed Houndog's dwell in the shell recipe pretty closely (except we did whole lobbies instead of just tails) and the meat came tender and delicious. I didn't even use the drawn butter on the side. The only downside to the whole affair was that I had a little bit of trouble killing one of the crustaceans - poor guy was a fighter. Oh well - I won't get too graphic but that's not my favorite part of cooking lobsters for sure.[p]Also did a side of Egged scallops. I put 'em on a skewer and powdered them with a rub consisting of equal parts old bay and dizzy pig tsunami plus a healthy pinch of cayenne. They were boss.[p]It's raining here in Richmond with a forecast for snow, which means two things: throw on a batch of chili right now and get geared up to try my hand at pizza cooked on my new stone and new platesetter. Then tonight I'll watch my Devils kick the snot out of the Wahoos. This stuff is too much fun. [p]'Bread
