OT: Bombattata & Bombanino

Pretty sure I practically ingested an entire bottle of this myself in 24 hours; it is very exciting.
Moving right along in order of what I eat, the bombattata was a match made in heaven, two beaten eggs poured into a small pan with hot olive oil, let set for about 30 seconds, spoon in the bomba & a little thinly shaved imported asiago, cook another minute then pop briefly under the broiler and voila, the bambattata, so good I wanted to make a second one:

The bombanino is another natural which seems to be what this stuff is made for, spread liberally over one half of the cut ciabatta then topped with picante provolone & a little pepperoni, pressed for about 5 minutes & served with a few hot cherry peppers to kick it a little further along, simply perfect.

I would have sent you the cherries if I had been able to get to the importer. Have you tried the pepperoncini yet?

Sparky,
There is one on sale at the Bomba distributor. I think Santa may get that for me. If you buy anything like that, make sure you get he real Italian made. I had a Black and Decker or something like that and just didn't last. I have a bacon press that I use now.
