If you search the forum you can find a number of photos of nomex installations, but the quickest way...nomex is white, the standard felt is grey.

From what I've seen the Nomex gasket is sort of white. The standard felt gasket is dark gray. The Naked Whiz

Looks like she got the Nomex... Thanks!

besides the color - where did she buy it? The Nomex is not at the dealers yet - just by ordering from Atlanta.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

She got it from our local dealer. Its definitely not dark grey like posted above. I’ll look closer tonight. Do I still use the 3M77 on the felt version? I’ll use it until I need a new one again.

I'm sorry 1/2 Chicken,the felt is light gray(when new)
Here's the one on my new mini ;)Sounds like you got the felt, unless your local dealer is in Tucker GA

There's no mistaking the NOMEX, it is white when new.

Well darn...
Actually my felt was holding up just fine until I decided do a high heat cleaning burn and not re-open my egg and subsequently fused the whole thing together. That made for a frantic Thanksgiving morning. I’ll use the felt and when it goes in another two years switch to the good stuff. Thanks for the input. -
Did the same thing last week

"1/2 Chicken", If you are 1/2 chicken what is the other half?
 -
Like "Sparky " says, the nomex is almost white (kind of creamy white - light beige) and the regular felt is grey (or gray if your from the south). I changed them out to nomex on three eggs a few weeks ago.
