Hello All,
I was in Sur La Table yesterday looking at all the great items and was wondering what is everyone reccommended baking dish? i have heard horrible tales about Pyrex having had one myself years back where i was removing a dish baked in the oven and as i took it out and placed it on the stove just as i turned my head a big POP and food and glass was all over me and the kitchen i had to remove shrapnel of glass from my arm as well i passed it off as something i had done wrong i thought i had maybe sat the Pyrex dish on a wet spot or something well anyway what is your suggested or reccommended baking dish too use in the BGE i was thinking of terrocotta or something thanks in advance

ive used pyrex without problems as well as corning ware and earthen bean pots. for durability ive also used castiron skillets, enameled castiron casserole pans, carbon steel paella pans, pretty much anything that works in an oven.fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

I've had the BGE for 6 months plus. I'm really starting to lean towards the cast iron and enameled cast iron. I have a few odd pieces for fill in the blanks.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX
