Here's an idea! (Tonite's supper)

Had a small piece of beef tenderloin (about the size of my hand) that I'd trimmed from the original. Not enough for two, but enough for one. I fired up Mr. Mini tonight and got a good sear on it. Then, thinly sliced with mushrooms and onions, a wad of Swiss Cheese and viola, Philly Steak and Cheese sandwiches! (We don't care for the bell peppers -- they keep us old fogies up all night.)[p]Nice way to use a small cut of left oversand a meal for two...[p]Kelly Keefe

Kelly Keefe,
great idea there, Kelly! Seems like the back of our freezer has a collection of either singles or smaller portions of this and that. I've used such in wok meals before, but the Philly sandwich never crossed my mind!
