What is the placesetter used for?
Mac in NC

I've been reading numerous posts concerning the placesetter and decided to purchase one myself. However, I have not seen many pics of the placesetter in use. My question is...How is it placed in the EGG (legs up, legs down?) and how would you set up for pizzas and slow and lo smokes. Currently, I use fire bricks for indirect but not sure how to set up for pizza. (Just got a stone too) Thanks, Mac
