Oooh..made some good eatins tonight..[p]Took 2 thick ribeye steaks..slathered them in olive oil and rubbed them down with some Dizzy Pig CowLick Steak Rub..let em sit for an hour or so..then grilled them at high temp till me rare...then I sliced them real thin..and made some fajitas outta them. I had also cooked some onions and peppers in a foil pouch alongside the steaks..with some olive oil, little salt-n-peppa, and more rub. [p]Dat was good eatin my friends.[p]BTW, before the cook tonight I noticed my ceramic bottom grate is in 2 pieces..was wonderin why it took so long to come up to temp the other night..now I know why. Guess I'll be callin for that metal replacement.[p]Zero degrees outside while I was cookin..bare feet almost stuck to the porch.[p]Hope everybody had a happy day today ![p]StumpBaby

StumpBaby, Just got my replacement metal grid shipped direct out of Atlanta. Paid 10.00 for shipping. MUCH better than the ceramic grid.
In the meantime, John @ BGE Atlanta suggested wrapping the old grid tightly in aluminum foil and punching out the holes. Voila! Tempo grid til the new one arrives!! Worked like a charm for me. (Thanks John)[p]P.S. Just finished a cook of lemon pepper chicken wings. Nothing else to do at 0 dark 30 hrs...
