Issues with the digiQ 2 pit probe

The pit probe keeps rising...I have it set for 350, but no matter what I do it goes way past it...mean while the dome therm.keeps reading 325-350. Any thoughts?

Start shutting down the Pit Viper and the top vent.
This assumes you have the Pit Probe clipped to the dome probe
