My de-constructed bird

Put this 23 pounder on at 6:00 am and at 8:30 its already at 136 degrees. Interesting thing is I had the Egg stable at 350 when I put the bird in and the dome temp is still reading 220, really illustrates why you have to trust your Egg. -RP

My Tel-Tru in the normal thermometer port is reading 250. It is close to the bird, but definitely not touching. I pulled the (calibrated) thermometer out of my medium and stuck it into the daisy wheel. 350ish.

I thought the picture didn't look right either. Never saw a turkey cut quite like that. It kind of reminded me of my dog when it sits on the floor bends and twists around to lick it's own .... tail.
