MrCoffee, I have the same problem trying to put the picture source where this boards says to put it (Optional Image URL) when posting a message. I use the "IMG source" HTML in the body of the message to place pictures.[p]I know that isn't right, but it works.
-
MrCoffee, Maybe if the "IMG source=" HTML is put in the Optional Image URL, that'll work? Let's try!
-
MrCoffee, Nope that didn't work either, sorry.[p]<IMG source="http://www.planetdognine.com/megabbs/photos/show-album.asp?albumid=16¤tpos=5>[p]
Well let's see if the embedding method works!

You posted the address of a web page instead of posting the address of the picture. If you want to post a photo, you have to know the address of the picture, not the web page that the picture is displayed on. [p]If you only know the address of the web page that contains the photo, then you have to put that address in the "Optional Link URL" field and some descriptive text in the "Link Title" field. This will generate a link to the web page. [p]If you know the address of the photo itself, you place that address in the "Optional Image URL" field. I've done that in this post. If the photo works, then that is what you need to do. If it doesn't work, then your host site doesn't allow remote linking. Let's see....[p]TNW

Ok, that worked. What you need to do is display the webpage that has your photo. Put the mouse pointer over the image on the web page and right click on it. Click on "Properties". The box that appears will have an Adress (URL) field. On your photo it is: [p]http://www.planetdognine.com/megabbs/photos/get-photo.asp?photoid=94[p]Try it by right clicking on the image above. Cut and paste this value into the "Optional Image URL" field on your post and that will work.[p]Good luck!

Okay, I think I understand. If this works there will be the picture of a couple of butts and a brisket and then a lot more pictures to come.[p]Thanks for the help!

MrCoffee,
Looks great Terry! I'm drinking my first morning cup of coffee (ISH Americano) and ya got me droolin'! Hmmm, have some vac'd pulled pork in the freezer, had it for lunch yesterday but never had it for breakfast yet:) (love just grabbing a frozen vac bag, dumping in a pot of water, bring to a simmer, 20min later cutting it open and the smell leaping out all over again...)

Notice the #4 MickeyT ring. They are working just great.[p]Terry
