May BBQ Competition in Michigan

The Michigan Barbecue Consortium and Toad Hollow announce the first annual Toad Hollow Backyard BBQ Competition on May 31,2003 at the Vicksburg Recreation Area , Vicksburg, Michigan.[p]Being a backyard competition, teams will be able to cook with wood, charcoal, or gas. This is not a KCBS event. In the future, the organizers plan to have a backyard and a KCBS sanctioned competition. It is our hope that several BGE owners will enter and perhaps use this as an opportunity to test recipes or techniques for later competitions. Bring your eggs out and have some fun .
