Girls Working Light Is Lit

Spring Chicken

I just gave Lilly Large a couple of butts to keep warm overnight and well into tomorrow. She is being chaperoned by B Guru so there should not be any trouble. Afterward, she will entertain a Dutchman's Oven for another few hours. Meanwhile, Shirley Small will be warming up some dough. That leaves Maggie Mini to fill the gap with some ABT's and shrimps. Then on Thursday, Fred Turkey will be fully recovered from his chilling experience and will begin his final mission toward becoming a consumable item.

And while the Girls are doing their thing, I will be warming up two loaves of Amish Friendship Bread in the Big House oven in order to give me something to do 'til Frank in Houma lands with his entourage. He will probably be Eggspecting some form of liquid refreshment after his harrowing drive. Then he is scheduled to be moving on in a westward direction. Within a couple of hours another crowd made up of DNA matches will arrive with stronger permanency intentions shortly thereafter and are expected to remain until Saturday.

The Ranch will certainly be a bee hive of activity and we are fully prepared with many liquid containers and other forms of entertainment.

So starts a long period during which all my girls will be working their tails off.
