Last nights filet mignon

Last nights dinner turned out wonderful, I cooked the 4 filets together on the medium, on the grid extender. The smallest filet I butterflied as suggested by SSDawg (thank you) cooked 3 min. per side at 600° and a 4 min. dwell. Everyone was really happy, even the lady that will not eat anything pink. LOL[p]Her husband and his mom (in her early 80's) said it was probably the best steak they have ever eaten. His mom could not get over how tender they were. Served with salad, potato's and red wine.[p]Thanks to all for the help,
