a smoke ring so pretty....

it looked fake. I did beef ribs at work today and they were on from 12:30 till 5 when I closed and foiled them with some Fishers Raspberry chipolti sauce. they rested for about an hour, till i got home and the rest of dinner fixed. they could have used another half hour at least I think, they were really big ones and double bones in them instead of just the one like I have had in the past. still a little fatty but they were so good. and the smoke ring was as pretty as picture. I got out the camera to take a picture and the batteries were dead. I had about given up on beef ribs as they were either dry or tough or burnt tasting. these were good enough that I would do them again. 275 +/- as I had trouble getting the egg lit, lump was damp and the shop was busy so I could not stay on it and get it going good. LOL I even scooped up some leaves to help it! So i bumped it up a little to hurry them. indirect with a heavy does of red wine in the drip pan. Julie
