After reading about the Big Green Egg for sometime and then stumbling onto this forum I decided I just had to have one. In early December I decided to treat myself to a birthday present and picked up a large. I have tried a number of cooks on it-chicken, turkey, london broil, pork tenderloin, and even burgers. Everything has been great; well with the exception of one of the burger cooks--just a little too done for my taste but my wife loved them. I'm working my way up to a pork butt which I expect to light a fire under tomorrow. Thanks to all for the great information posted here on the forum it makes cooking on the egg fun.[p]
