Thanks for your input on the baby backs people. They turned out great! I changed it a little..I placed the ribs in a V-rack upside down over a drip pan with firebricks below. The drip pan had about 2 cup of water in it. After the 3 hours I removed the firebricks, drip pan and V-rack, wrapped them in foil for 1 hour. Then I placed them directly on the grill for 1 1/2 hours. The last half hour I basted them in sauce. They were as good if not better than any ribs I have ever had! This message board has been a godsend to a newbie like me.
