Tater Tot Breakfast

Put a layer of frozen tater tots in the bottom of an 8 x 8 aluminum pan
Crumpled up four slices of crispy bacon
Added some sauteed onions and red bell pepper
Tony Chachere's on top the tater tots
Scrambled 6 eggs with a little milk and tabasco
Poured it over the tater tots
Cooked it indirect on SBGE
Added some grated cheddar cheese about 15 minutes before taking it off

Nice - Some diced jalapenos and tomatoes would hurt this

I'd be all over that! Bet it would be good with ham or sausage too.
-
That looks so good! And so easy. Perfect for a party.

Absolutely - Celtic Wolf made breakfast at Eggtoberfest - I think it had everything but the kitchen sink in it. Real nice. You would have thought there was a rugby scrum going on when he took it off the Egg. We turned around and it was almost gone - my bride made a diving game saving catch for the penultimate spoonful.

You're killing me with that thing ( it looks so good).

Casserole, Potato, Tator Tot, Bente
This is one of my favorite cooks simple, and good... i usually add a few grates of pepper... but no salt because the soup is salty enough
INGREDIENTS:
1 Bag Onion flavored tater tots
1 Lb Hamburger meat
2 Cans Cream of mushroom soup
2 Cups Cheddar cheese grated
1 Small Onion
3/4 Cup Milk
Procedure:
1 Brown meat and add onion until meat is brown and onion is soft.
2 Whisk milk and soup together pour over meat.
3 Spray a lasagna pan with pam, add tater tots frozen to bottom of pan..
4 Pour meat mixture over tots and spread cheese on top.
5 put in egg indirect at 350 for 30 minuets covered.. uncover and cook another 30 min

Did Bente's casserole a while back - it's nice.

Frank,
That looks great!! How long was the cook and at what temp? Would love to try something similar for an upcoming brunch... -
Indirect around 350 for about 40 minutes. Wouldn't hurt to go up to 400. Just before the eggs are cooked sprinkle on some cheese.
