Not terribly long by standards here, a pair of butts around 17 hours. Came out perfect.

My very first cook on my egg.....17 hours for 2 Pork Butts.(No I did not copy Jeffersonian's answer). I oooked them at around 230 degree dome temperature.

15 hours Pork Butt.

If I read your question correctly I early on once went 21 hours baby-sitting two butts at a low temp before buying a BBQ-Guru. After that I say "It's all yours now Guru!" and I have a nice sleep!
OTOH if you meant how LONG someone cooked with only ONE load in a Large BGE, I believe it was Elder Ward who went something like 36 hours.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
i id a butt at 225 that went 24 hours, and the second it came off, my buddy threw on a brisket he had started at his place, that went 8 more hours.ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante

23 hours, 9+ lb. butt. Came out looking real good, pull as easy as could be.

16 Hours @250 dome but when done I still had more than half the charcoal I started with. I would think it could easily have gone 32 hours. I would expect the dome temp has much to do with how long you can go. Lower temp = less fuel, higher temp = more fuel. That's what you call a blinding flash of the obvious.

I did 2 butts (7lbs & 5lbs) this weekend that went 15 hours...and I probably could have went longer had I not had to take them to a football party. I foiled the big one the last hour to help it out....for that the bark was soft but otherwise they were perfect.
Have a medium so ran out of lump the last hour...re-fired & foiled the big one up. -
26 hours on 4 butts on my egg...

Full packer brisket - 21 hours at 225°F.Food & Fire - The carnivorous ramblings of a gluten-free grill geek.
