Ok all, I have started a delphi forum for Eggers who want to stick to the low carb life. Rather than bore all the bread-eaters here to death, we can share our info on lo carb-bing and how the egg helps us out. It's a private, invite only site, mostly to avoid spamming.[p]If you would like to be included, just send me an e at parsnip@comic.com, and I'll generate an invite!

    MollyShark, great idea! [p]If you are looking for a lite 'Lo-Carb' beer to include, try Michelob 'Ultra' - not bad for a lite lo-carb beer! [p]Just remember to throw in a few bottles os Bass Ale when you break the diet!

    MollyShark,
    I've been doing the lo-carb diet for over a year. I've had no problems with anything I have cooked on the BGE, plus I of course drink red wine with it, as well as my martini's.
    I've lost 61 lbs, doing it, and the BGE has helped make it easy.

    Rick,
    I basically followed what was allowed in the Atkins book, and followed the induction diet as my benchmark, with few exceptions. If I want something sweet, I have a Atkins candy bar. I have now included Michelob Ultra when I want a beer.
    The BGE has been a great help, since cooking on it enhances all the meats, fish, etc; with out having to add a lot of things that are not on the diet, re; various sauces, spices; etc;
    I can drink wine or distilled spirits, with diet soda; diet tonic etc.
    I guess that if anyone thing that I have lived by, is not to exceed 20 Carbs, per day and not to cheat when I I could have.
    Good Luck!
