Amish Friendship Bread - Chocolate Chip Test

Here is the chocolate chip test...
When first out of the oven all looked pretty good. The closest loaf is the Chocolate Chip loaf. You can see some chips in the above the pan bread.
Spring Chicken had some temp questions so I decided to take a reading with the Thermopen.
The back loaf came out at 175° center and mid level of the loaf. The front loaf, chocolate chip loaf, came out and read 205°. I was surprised with that much temperature difference between the loaf's.
I took 4 or 5 readings but all stayed about the same.
Both cooked side by side on the oven. Also, notice how the chocolate chip loaf raised higher over the pan.

After about 15 minutes The chocolate chip loaf caved in while still in the pan. I am guessing the higher raise was just an air pocket.

Here is how the chocolate chips rested in the dough and you can see the air cavity.

Here is the normal loaf.

The 'normal' loaf came out great and tasted great.
The texture of the chocolate chip loaf was good and the taste was just OK to pretty good in my opinion. But not great. I am not sure if I will try the chocolate chip's again.
I am going to try some raisins at some point in time.
Fidel is going to try some nutmeg and I am looking forward to how that came out.

Kent,
It looks like the Amish Friendship Bread is getting a good work out on the forum!
Ross -
It does, I was not sure if I should have sent any out.
