This is my first winter with the egg. So far, I've had the lid frozen shut twice, including once with wax paper in between the lid and base. I've been able to unfreeze it by lighting the egg from the bottom, but I'd prefer not to have the situation at all. I assume an egg cover would do the trick, so if those who use a cover would let me know if it has solved the frozen egg problem for you, I'd appreciate it.
