What temp did you cook; direct or indirect? A friend suggested going low and slow on a whole sirloin, letting it pick up a lot of flavor.

Shelby,[p]I cooked at 350° indirect. It took 4 hours to reach 140° internal. I used 3 chunks of hickory in my charcoal. This is the first sirloin tip I've done and I was amazed at how much hickory flavor the meat had. It was awesome.[p]Jim
