First Prime Rib Roast

<p />After reading all the recipes for Prime Rib I decided to get one for Christmas dinner. Because of a change of plans I did not get to cook it until last night. Now I cant wait to do another.

    Looks like you went direct over the coals. What temp did you use and how long did it cook?

    Seared direct at 600º then shut it down put the place setter and drip pan in and went indirect until an internal on the polder of 145º.
