What should I do with this deer meat?

Today, I was offered some venison in steak form from a buddy of mine. Never eaten it before and was wondering if the hunters in the forum could give me some suggestions on how to prepare and serve. My friend assured me that the meat would not have a "gamey" taste because it was bled out over two days while packed on ice. Mac

I would still soak in buttermilk or mildly salted water for a few hours, Mac. Venison is extremely lean so it should be cooked quickly. I do loin pieces and roasts @ 350° and they are Eggcellent.[p]Jim
