Need dealer recommendations in Maryland

Since Barbecues Galore is closing, I'm searching for a good dealer in Maryland. I'm in Laurel but anywhere from Columbia to Annapolis and between the Baltimore and Washington beltways is reasonable.

Would like to find a dealer with a constant supply of good lump (BGE or better) and a reasonable in-stock selection of accessories and eggs. We shopped BBQ Galore in Columbia and while their stock of eggs and accessories wasn't great, they could always be counted on to have BGE lump and wood chunks.

So who's your favorite dealer in the area, and why?

Thanks,

Bill

Tri County hearth and patio in Waldorf....Seasonal distributors and Tri County are the sponsors of the Waldorf Eggfest....Dale and Rona Kelley are very fine people to do business with, and they are a lot of fun to party with at the fest. Seasonal is the BGE distributor for this part of the country, so inventory will never be an issue...You can't go wrong by dealing with them.

Hi, Wess, and thanks....I'm familiar with Waldorf and agree; was just looking for a place a bit closer to home. Might need to find a separate source for lump and make the drive to Waldorf for the hardware.

Appreciate the reminder about your 'fest. We're local (Laurel) but plan to be away that weekend. If it looks like our plans are changeable I'll drop you an email for the info...thanks!

I've been getting my lump from resteraunt deppot lately...before joining them I would get 20 bags at the discounted price at Eggfest..but you gotta have room to store it.....There is a sysco North of laurel...on Rt 1, near what was Coleman bros speed shop, no idea what is there now...I saw 40# bags in there for a cheap price, but that was last year some time. I would expect it would be a regular stocked item...And I con not say anything about the quality of it as I have never tried it......It will be on the left if heading north, shortly after the police barracks. I can shoot ya the tikifest details anyway if you'd like.
