Well,after a very busy weekend,I got most of the decking done.I ran out of deckboards,since a few were split,or otherwise unuseable :pinch: It was getting dark anyway.I did have some good help Saturday afternoon :cheer: .I had to stop to do some concrete work for one of the roof posts(I forgot to pour a footing) :S All in all,it was a pretty productive weekend Now,back to my real job

I really enjoyed building my deck about 35 yrs. ago, it was a fun project. It is starting to look a bit ratty, after seeing your new decking I am going to have to replank mine. Of course I am 16" on center instead of 12" so will probably have to use wood again. They have these new fangled deck screw things now, it should be much quicker than the nail things I used. I also now own one of those electronic circular saws.

Hope you get at least 35 yrs. out of yours.

Thanks guys,I was about to quit for the day when Carson came out and wanted to help :cheer: He is a very good helper,as we got a few more rows down He actually marked the boards for me to cut,then he handed me whatever I needed.I ask for the sguare,he say's,do you meen the triangle? Yes son,the triangle :laugh: It just doesn't get any better :woohoo:

I am trying to get an idea of how my lay-out is gonna work.It looks like I'll have plenty of room to cook(work :laugh: ).The upright 6x6 is the inside corner roof post.The two diagonal 6x6's represent the bar.The other 6x6's represent to counter top where 3 of the eggs will go.The XL will stay in the nest at the end of the countertop.The sink will be to the right,while the small,medium,and mini will be on the left.Just a few more hours and I'll be done :laugh:
