Hi Melissa,

Hope you had a great time at the fest, you looked happy in the pictures that are posted. Nice looking fish, I was wondering how you got them there. Did you ship them ahead of time???

Nice of you and Brent to come all that way, hope you had a good flight back.

Regards,

Bordello

    Hi!

It sure was nice to get down there in the warm weather - I'm sitting here listening to the 65mph gusts swirling around our house right now. Thank goodness it was only blowing 45 when I flew home.

We had a great time, so it was hard not to be smiling. Life is good these days. :)

As for the fish - we packed them up in a wetlock box w/ a styrofoam liner, blast froze them then checked them in as luggage. If all goes well, they get here at the same time as us.

    worked out great this time!!

Sorry to hear about your winds right now, I would be an
ice cube there. I sit at the local pub and they of course have the A.C. going as were still in the 90's.

I get cold and go out to my truck and get a fairly heavy quilted shirt with a hood to wear in there, they just shake their head at me.

That was interesting to see how you got the fish there, good job. It was nice to see you smiling so much, glad to hear life is going well for you.

Thanks for the reply and I wish you and yours the best. Keep posting, we all enjoy you on the forum.

    Regards,

Sure was good seeing you and Brent and all in such good spirits.

Ask that husband of yours to tell you what I said about him. See if he remembers..

Doing some fishing in Alaska is still high on my "Bucket List"

Not that I plan on kicking it anytime soon.. :woohoo:

It was great finally getting to meet you! That salmon was the best I've ever had. The salmon ABTs were probabley my favorite at the fest, followed closely by Frank in Houma's Blackened fish. It was good to see you and Brent, Cho, and your daughter. Yall have an open invitation to visit and warm up when ever you want.
