If your planning on taking the Marta train from the airport to the as-close-as-you-can-get location to Eggtoberfest you need to be sure to take the correct northbound train ... to the Doraville Station. There are two northbound trains, one goes to North Springs and one goes to Doraville. They stop at the same stations up to and including the Lindbergh Station, and then go in different directions. If you get on the wrong train you need to get off at Lindbergh and wait for the Doraville train. This will bring you to within a few miles of the mothership in Tucker and there are generally plenty of cabs at the station to take you the rest of the way. Tucker is less than 5 miles northeast of the Doraville Station. This would be a lot cheaper than taking a cab from the airport (about 25 miles). Click on the link below for a map of the train system and you can get a schedule from the website also. It's very easy as you board the train right in the upper level of the airport.

The Marta is so easy to use! We used to go to Atlanta twice a year with our other business and always stayed out in Buckhead and used the Marta the whole week. I miss that part of the old business. Atlanta is a great city with great people for the most part. like any city :)

MARTA is great as long as it HAPPENS to take you where you want to go. It does not cover Atlanta very well.
