    scallops wrapped in bacon are always a hit.

    or slightly better burgers... thick filet mignon (tenderloin wrappped in bacon). cook it, then butterfly it (split in half, into thinner patties) and put it between really good buns (NOT hamburger buns). they're great because they are tender like burgers, you can hold them in one hand while having a beer, and they are a bit more of a treat than simple burgers, without being over the top.

    Some classic ABT's, shrimp lejon, shrimp & pancetta, chicken thighs and/or wings, add a cayanne pepper to BENTE's knockworst & you've got a Texas Zippy, or add some bacon to your beef, grind it up & you've got a Zippy Burger, or wrap just about anything in bacon & pop it on the egg & you'll see miles of smiles :):):):):):):):)

    These are a quick starter cook! Kielbasi sausage split down the top and stuffed with very sharp cheddar then topped with good sour kraut and . bake just till hot and cheese melts. you can slice into about 1 inch chunks for finger food.
