Eggtoberfest Thoughts

well in 4 short days we will be in Atlanta.. i am so eggcited i can't stand it... with all the eggcitment it is difficult for me because i will miss a few friends...
first and formost i wish like heck i could see a good friend of mine i made at my first egg fest..

it turns out he was not supposed to be there at all the first time.. but earlier that year i had ordered some handles from him i was so stoked to meet him i had to take a picture with a stupid look on my face he sure will be missed this year especially by me.. see last year we got a new dog

the dog was just a puppy but like all puppies she liked to chew on some things

needless to say i was steaming mad she got ahold of both of my handles.. i asked the egg masses what to do and one of them suggested spraying my handle with pam and putting some cayanne pepper on it.. problem solved.. well almost i still had a chewed up handle.. i got in touch with lawn ranger and told him about my delima.. he told me to send them to him.. i told him i wanted to keep the teeth marks in the handles as a king of badge of honnor so low and behole a short time later they arrived back looking new and shiney



with some teeth marks still in there also when this box arrived i found something a little extra in there

a big spoon.. with a bent handle.. this thing has been a real big help to me.. whenever i take a hot adjustable rig out of the egg it comes in handy.. it also helps mewith stirring the ash around the fire box. so i asked a couple weeks ago and there will be no lawn ranger at the eggtoberfest this year and i am sad about that :( so sad not to be able to thank him in person


also the first year i was on the forum i met another fellow on here... he actually asked me to come help him with a competion





and although i had fun i figured out the competetion circut is not one of my long term goals.. i had a blast but i am not a nice person when i smell like smoke and don't get enough rest to get over the jim beam.. but come to find out he will not be at eggtoberfest either
and i am mad about that



and did i read it right there will be someone else missing?

anyway i am sure there will be so many othere i look foreard to seeing



plus a few people who i call friends from last years fest.... no matter what they say about me :laugh:

but this year i will try to be more prepared last year we got a late leave from the meet and greet.. but it was all good we had a great time in the parking lot with two of the nicest people i have ever met on the internet


just can't wait to see the hippos again....


just a few thoughts i know i forgot some people that i don't have a picture of like wiseone, yb, mr toad, ssn686, and mr huffjr.. but as you all know there are so many nice people at at eggfest you can't help to forget a couple pictures :pinch:

you know, the one i'm gonna miss the most is my very own daughter, the spawn.. ..just not gonna be the same without her there ... :(



but am absolutely looking forward to seeing the lovely miss parker paige bente and seeing how much she's grown over the past year!!

Yes that is the back of my head, but I'm also in the Team Alaska photo. If you get one from that angle this year it will look a bit different as I haven't gotten my hair cut since before last EggtoberFest, but I will be wearing the same shirt. :laugh:
