butt. :pinch: My homemade drip pan leaked,and got butt juice(sounds good huh)all over the egg.The ash at the bottom was in a paste-like form So,it's time for a fire :woohoo: Here's the mess



Here's the smoke from the 600+ burn Good thing it's windy here today,or else someone would have called the fire department again :blink:





Time to shut it down before fire starts coming out the top :laugh:

Hey Beli,that's a medium to the right.The small is hiding behind the XL,and the mini is in the barn I can't wait to get my new smokehouse built :cheer:

i was sitting there and looking at the smoke poring out, camera at hand in case the fire department showed up... i was actually laughing at the thought of posting the photos on the forum... then my gasket melted and i wasn't smiling any more... that is why i told you to use one...

I hear ya Terry,I tried to make a drip pan,but it didn't catch it all :pinch: I threw this cook together in a hurry,so I made a few mistakes It did turn out good though,and hopefully the dome will still open when it cools down :ermm: If not,I'll get over it.This was for a charity fundraiser,so I feel good about it

next time wrap a pyrex lasagna style 9x 13 pan with aluminum foil (for easier clean up) and use it as a drip pan

That don't work in an XL,unless you put the platesetter under the firering.But I needed all the lump I could fit :pinch:It used almost all ten+ lbs that I started with.

Hey buddy. I have a never used 16 1/2" pan from TJV if you think you can use it. I need to order a couple more 14" ones for the large. Let me know.

Hey Damon,the total cook time was 14.25hrs for the largest one,but the first one came off at 11.5 hrs
